Optometric education is Dr. Hoff’s passion and her profession. She believes that being both an optometrist and an optician gives her a unique and broad perspective when educating, training, or treating visual disorders with ophthalmics.

Dr. Kazemi practiced for almost two decades in private practice in San Francisco after graduating from UC Berkeley School of Optometry. She returned to her alma mater as a faculty member and is an Instructor at Marin Health and Wellness Community Clinic. Dr. Kazemi embraces her role as an educator and patient care provider, lecturing locally to students, faculty, community optometrists, and nationally at the American Academy of Optometry Meetings.

Dr. Tavakoli's professional journey is marked by diverse experiences which span various settings, including high-volume retail environments, specialized ophthalmology clinics, nursing homes and community health centers.
